Resume parser test

See what the hiring system can actually read.

Drop in a PDF, DOCX, TXT, or Markdown resume. ATS Readback shows the exact extracted text, the order it appears in, layout risks, recovered contact details, and explicit job-description terms.

What this catches

A resume can look correct and still parse badly.

ATS Readback tests the actual file structure. It does not grade typography, sell rewritten bullets, or hide the method behind a score.

01

Reading order

Shows when sidebars, columns, tables, or positioned PDF text appear in the wrong sequence.

02

Missing content

Flags image-only files, broken font encoding, text boxes, headers, footers, and sparse extraction.

03

Contact details

Confirms whether email, phone, LinkedIn, and other links survive the parser.

04

Job evidence

Lists explicit terms found and missing using documented lexical matching—not a hiring prediction.

The boundary

There is no universal ATS score.

Hiring systems use different parsers, configurations, and workflows. This tool gives you auditable evidence: exact recovered text, structural indicators, and a documented coverage method.

Common questions

Use the result correctly.

Does a green result guarantee every ATS will parse my resume?

No. It means the enabled checks recovered coherent text in this parser. Every hiring system can behave differently.

Does my resume get uploaded?

No. The public site is static, has no backend or analytics, and its browser policy blocks network connections. Processing happens in a dedicated browser worker.

Why not give one ATS score?

A single score implies precision that does not exist. ATS Readback reports observable facts and shows how job-term coverage was calculated.

Should I use PDF or DOCX?

Use the format requested by the employer. For either format, inspect the saved file and confirm that names, dates, headings, and bullets appear in the right order.
